Lockpicking & Card Mechanics
Comfortable with tension wrenches, pin tumblers, and practicing tactile bypass methods. When hands aren't holding picks, they're usually shuffling cards for flourishes, cuts, and throwing accuracy.
Status: Mostly harmless unless you rely on master locks or unprotected card decks.
Excessive Trumpet Decibels
Playing lead trumpet through a Bobby Shew lead mouthpiece. My neighbors are very patient. Capable of switching over to mandolin, ukulele, electric guitar, or piano when brass fatigue sets in.
Skill: High-register volume and split-second rhythmic timing.
Hardware Tinkering & Mechanical Curiosity
Modifying printers into lasers, designing modular plant contraptions, waiting weeks for rock tumblers to finish a grit cycle, and modeling kinetic mechanical toys driven entirely by rubber band tension.
Primary motive: Wanting to understand how physical mechanisms break and function.
Filament Consumption
Countless hours watching layer lines lay down at 2 AM.
Debugging Tolerance
Stubborn refusal to stop until the mechanism rotates smoothly.
Breadboard Wire Spaghetti
Functional first, neat and organized eventually.
